The Marine Corps JROTC unit at Granbury High School and Crossland Ninth Grade Center has been named a Naval Honor School for the second year in a row. The announcement was made on August 20, 2015. Granbury High School graduate Savanna Shelnutt recently received a four-year $18,000 college scholarship from the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
