About Us

Acton Municipal Utility District (AMUD) is a Municipal Utility District created by the Texas Water Commission on July 21, 1982 and confirmed by an election held with the District on August 14, 1982. AMUD was created to serve the DeCordova/Acton, Pecan Plantation and Indian Harbor residents and is a non-profit governmental entity directed by five elected Officials.
