Texas Heroes Foundation 2025 "Student Texas History Fair
Each year, students in grades 3-12 in and around Hood County are invited to discover Texas history by creating research-based historical projects for the Student Texas History Fair hosted by the Texas Heroes Foundation in celebration of Texas Independence Day.
2025 THEME: Rights & Responsibilities in Texas History
CATEGORIES: Exhibit, Research Paper, Creative Writing Paper, Performance, and Artwork

AWARDS RECEPTION and CEREMONY will be held at Acton Methodist Church on Friday, February 28th, starting at 5:00 pm. All entries will be available to view and vote for the People's Choice Award from 5:00-6:15 pm. The Awards Ceremony will begin at 6:30 pm.
- Awards: $500 Senior Scholarship, $100 People's Choice Award, $100 First Place in Each Category & Division, $75 Second Place in Each Category & Division, $50 Third Place in Each Category & Division, $100 Group Award in Each Category & Division
