As part of our ongoing commitment to serve and advocate for the Hood County business community, the Granbury Chamber of Commerce proudly provides nonpartisan candidate forums for key local elections, including School Board of Trustees, City Council and Mayoral races, and County Commissioner seats.
These forums are designed to inform voters, promote civic engagement, and offer a trusted, neutral platform where candidates can share their perspectives on issues that impact our community and local economy. We believe that informed citizens are the foundation of a strong, thriving community.
In preparation for each forum, we invite community members to submit questions for consideration. Candidates are provided with a selection of these questions in advance—not as a requirement, but as a professional courtesy—to help them prepare thoughtfully. This gesture is intended to support a respectful and productive dialogue, not to limit spontaneity or transparency.

The Chamber is not obligated to include or share all questions submitted, but we strive to represent a wide range of community interests while maintaining a professional and constructive forum environment.

Our goal is to provide a respectful, unbiased setting where candidates can present their qualifications, share their priorities, and communicate their vision for the future.
